Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts Resolution "On parliamentary hearings entitled "30 years after Chornobyl: lessons and prospects"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ruled to hold parliamentary hearings entitled "30 years after Chornobyl [NPP disaster]: lessons and prospects" at the session hall of the Ukrainian Parliament on March 16, 2016.

Before March 1, 2016, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is urged to prepare and submit to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine information-analytical materials on the parliamentary hearings and respective proposals to the recommendations of the parliamentary hearings.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe is urged to provide proposals touching the recommendations of the parliamentary hearings, prepare and organize the hearings.

Respective draft resolution was registered under No. 3425.
