In particular, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision considered a number of draft laws aimed at strengthening the social protection during the meeting.

During the second part of a special open meeting of the Committee for Financial Policy and Banking, an open ballot determined four candidates for members of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Verkhovna Rada Committee on Family, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism and considered a number of draft laws during the meeting and, among other things, recommended the government to take a number of actions to overcome the bureaucratic delays when awarding the honorary title of Ukraine Mother-Heroine to women who gave birth and brought up to eight years old five and more children.

During the meeting, the members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy examined four draft laws and passed resolutions on the same.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Affairs, in particular, considered the draft Law on Amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine concerning the peculiarities of formation and execution of budgets of the united communities.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education held an extended meeting to discuss the draft Law on Education.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Construction, City Planning, and Housing-Public Utility Economy considered a number of draft laws and approved recommendations on housing and land plot allocation to ATO participants.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Corruption Prevention and Counteraction, in particular, considered 105 draft laws for their compliance with anti-corruption legislation during the meeting.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government held hearings on improvement of legal regulation of awarding in Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Policy held a hearing on implementation of measures in the field of economic policy by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

The issues of reform of the parliamentary media were in focus at the hearing in the Committee for Freedom of Speech and Information Policy.

There were also the meetings of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Transport, Verkhovna Rada Committee for Security and Defense Affairs, as well as the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe, etc.

The Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), headed by its leader Liudmyla Denisova, took part in the meeting of the Standing Committee and the work of PABSEC 46th General Assembly this week, namely on November 25-27, held in Bucharest (Romania). The Ukrainian delegation includes the people’s deputies of Ukraine, Olena Masorina, Anna Romanova, Refat Chubarov, Andrii Hordeyev, Oleksii Kyrychenko and Vadym Ivchenko.

The General Assembly adopted the Declaration due to international terrorism escalation, which is fully supported by the Ukrainian delegation and signed by the delegation Chairperson Liudmyla Denysova.

Besides, the members of the Committee for Foreign Affairs held a meeting with members of the Latvian Saeima, who visited Ukraine at the invitation of the Committee from 22 to 24 of November. The delegation included the members of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, chaired by Oyaris Kalnins.

The members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs also met the Chairperson of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly of France, Elisabeth Guigou.

The Verkhovna Rada held roundtables.

In particular, the roundtable attended by the Chairperson of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman discussed decentralization in terms of provision of administrative services for state registration of real estate and business.

The prospects and features of privatization of the peat extracting enterprises in Ukraine were discussed during the roundtable of the Special Monitoring Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on privatization.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Policy held a meeting of the roundtable on regulation of public procurement.

The people’s deputies also took part in other activities.

In particular, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Viktor Halasiuk took part in the roundtable on "Protection of the taxpayers’ legitimate interests during the audit of the supervisory bodies on the example of the IT industry"; the representatives of "Equal Opportunities" IFI Maria Ionova, Alyona Babak and Iryna Lutsenko took part in the press briefing, initiated by UN Women to mark the beginning of an all-Ukrainian information campaign "16 days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence."
