The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine cooperates and successfully implements the provisions of the Memorandum between the Secretariat and the East Europe Foundation regarding the cooperation on implementation of the Program of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) "Responsible, Accountable and Democratic Assembly (RADA)." First of all, is engages cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's committees, parliamentary factions and deputy groups. In 2010, with the support of USAID, the Program of Assistance to the Parliament of Ukraine launched a competition for realization of initiatives of employees of committees' secretariats and structural units of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's Secretariat.
Owing to the cooperation and the
competition in April 2015 at the initiative of USAID Program Rada,
Secretariat's employees visited the parliaments of Central and Eastern Europe
and familiarized themselves with the positive experience of their functioning
with the purpose of its application in their professional activity. During this
period, 43 employees of the Secretariat have participated in the said training.
In his closing speech, Secretariat Deputy Chairperson/Head of the Central
Organization Office Volodymyr Bondarenko thanked the partners for the
elaboration and implementation of the project together with the Secretariat of
the Verkhovna Rada.
