The Committee members/subject of the right of legislative initiative during the November 25 meeting of the Committee emphasized that the draft law (No.2294a) is aimed at renovating the unified procedure of calculating convocations of representative local self-government bodies (councils).
One of the authors of the draft law O.Boiko said that the document proposes to amend Articles 1, 2 and Article 4 "Final Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On procedure of calculating convocations of representative local self-government bodies (councils)" and to set unified requirements concerning the renovation of the procedure of calculating convocations of representative local self-government bodies (councils) in Ukraine.
Chairman of the Subcommittee on administrative services, state symbols and awards O.Dehtiarchuk said that the Committee had received the following conclusions:
- the Committee on Budget believes the draft law will have no influence on budgets’ indicators;
- the Committee on Corruption Prevention and Counteraction indicates that the draft law contains no corruptogenic factors - the draft document meets the requirements of the anti-corruption legislation;
- the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat points to some remarks and suggestions to the draft law and offers to approve it as a basis in the first reading following the consideration.
