On October 8, 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis draft laws on persons and entities involved in forcible execution of court rulings and decisions of other bodies (No.2506a) and on execution procedures (No.2507a). At present, the draft laws are being prepared by the Committee on Legal Policy and Justice for the second reading.

As the reform of the system of forcible execution of court rulings is extremely important and should take into consideration the realities of the current Ukrainian society and the practical experience of foreign partners in the field, members of the Committee Yanitskyi V.P., Alekseev I.S., and Sydorovych R.M. made an educational trip, facilitated by a project of the European Union on facilitation of reform in Ukraine's system of justice, to Sofia (Bulgaria) on November 15-18 for exchange of experience regarding the functioning of the mixed system of execution of court rulings.

The Ukrainian deputies met with representatives of the ministry of justice, the chamber of private executors, the state execution service of Sofia, the Institute of market economy, the Initiative for supporting social services on execution of court rulings carried out by the Center of legal initiatives, the Ombudsperson of the Republic of Bulgaria, persons who took part in reforming the systems of the execution of court rulings in Bulgaria in 2003-2006, and private executors.

The Bulgarian colleagues expressed support to Ukraine's reforms in the field of execution of court rulings and voiced a hope that their experience will be useful for improving the quality of the reform.
