The meeting of the Committee was on November 11
Following the consideration the Committee recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis at first reading draft law No. 2343a on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine addressing prevention of corruption and conflict of interests in activities of persons holding political posts. The draft law has been submitted by people's deputies Chumak V.V., Novak N.V., and others.
Following the consideration the Committee finds as complying with provisions of the anti-corruption laws draft law on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in connection with adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Combating corruption" No.2494a submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
However, the Committee recommends that the Verkhovna Rada following the first reading of the draft law on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in connection with adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Combating corruption" return the draft law to the subject of legislative initiative for finalization.
The Committee also finds as complying with provisions of the anti-corruption laws draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine in connection with adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Combating corruption" No. 2495a submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The committee recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt the draft law as a basis at first reading and also recommends that the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy finalize the draft law taking into consideration proposals of the Committee.
The draft law on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine in connection with adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Combating corruption" No. 2496a submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine complies with provisions of the anti-corruption laws.
The Committee recommends that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopt as a basis at first reading draft law on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine in connection with adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Combating corruption" submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
