Verkhovna Rada Of Ukraine Adopts In Principle Draft Law "On Scientific Activities, Scientific and Technological Activities"

Draft law No.2244a aims at modernization of the legislative provision of scientific activities, scientific and technological activities and envisages creation of new approaches towards management and funding in the area of science, provision of efficiency and transparency during performing and funding of scientific research and works, higher level of efficiency of cooperation among represenatives of the scientific community, bodies of the executives and the real economic sector in forming and realization of the single state policy in the sector of science and scientific and technological activities, creation of the legislative ground for commercialization of resulkts of fundamental scientific research, applied research, and scientific and technological (experimental) designs carried out by state scientific establishments, and realization of separate provisions of the effective law "On scientific activities, scientific and technological activities."
