Verkhovna Rada adopts draft law "On amendments to law on protection of economic competition" (as to size of fines set by Antimonopoly Committee agencies for breaching legislation on economic competition protection) as a basis

The draft law No. 2434 envisions that agencies of the Antimonopoly Committee should use the Method of calculation of fines for breaching of the legislation on protection of economic competition approved by respective order of the Antimonopoly Committee.

Besides, the document offers to establish the right of an economic entity/defendant in case upon breaching the legislation on protection of economic competition to appeal against decisions of an Antimonopoly Committee agency at an economic court as to application of fine and/or introduction of obligation to eliminate consequences of economic competition legislation breach.
