Verkhovna Rada adopts draft law "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On refugees and persons in need of additional or temporary protection" as to improvement of person documentation procedure" as a basis

The draft law No. 3155 offers to authorize a central executive body engaged in affairs of refugees and persons in need of additional or temporary protection to correct discrepancies in documents linked to the procedure of assignation of the refugee status or the status to a person in need of additional protection.

Besides, it envisions bringing the terms of registration of refugee's ID and ID of a person in need of additional protection in line with the Law of Ukraine "On Single State Demographic Register and documents that confirm Ukraine's citizenship, certifying the identity of a person or person's special status."
