According to the Secretariat of the Committee, the event was conducted in order to discuss the state of implementation of international projects at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant site.
The meeting participants exchanged opinion as to the course of the works.
They also pointed to the importance of implementation of the project, reinforcement and isolation of the constructions covering the new safe confinement.
The meeting participants noted that particular attention should be paid to the issue of insufficient financing in 2015 under the budget program КПКВ 2408120 entitled "Maintenance of power units and Shelter facility in safe condition and measures on preparation for decommissioning of the Chornobyl NPP, inter alia payment for works (measures) done in 2014 in compliance with the approved plan."
Tomenko paid considerable attention to preparation of measures and organization of holding events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Chornobyl NPP catastrophe at the national and international level.
