The Law amends a number of regulatory-legal acts of Ukraine on financing of political parties and envisions:
— start of state financing of political parties (statute activity of political parties and compensation of pre-election agitation costs);
— determination of fees of individuals and legal entities in favor of political parties;
— specification of provisions of the law on financial reporting of political parties on receipt and spending of funds;
— public access to information about sources of political parties' financing, etc.
Besides, the Law introduces administrative and criminal responsibility for violation of the order of provision or receipt of fees in favor of a party, violation of the order of financing of political parties.
The Law was approved with a number of remarks introduced during the discussion.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2123а.
