Verkhovna Rada adopts draft law "On national agency of Ukraine for search and management of assets received through corruption and other crimes" as a basis

The draft law No. 3040 offers to enshrine the institutional mechanism of asset search in a law to acquire the right to arrest of such property, return of such property and management of the arrested property.

The document also envisions determination of legal framework of organization and functioning of a standalone independent body responsible for such activity — National Agency of Ukraine for Search and management of assets obtained through corruption and other crimes.

The document was adopted taking in account remarks expressed during the discussion.
