Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine (as to military service in Armed Forces of Ukraine by foreigners and stateless persons"

The legislative act introduces amendments to Laws of Ukraine "On military duty and military service," "On Armed Forces of Ukraine" and "On Statute of Interior service of Armed Forces of Ukraine" that regulate access of foreigners and stateless persons to military service under respective contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations in the ranks of common soldiers and color sergeants.

The law also contains new wording of Article 447 of the Penal Code of Ukraine "Mercenary activities."

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2389.
