Groysman: draft constitutional amendments — high-quality document "that will return the powers to the people"

Taking part in the Na Chasi TV show on the Vinnytsia television, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman noted "we have never before been so close to form proper, European model of state management."

He said the set of draft constitutional amendments is a high-quality document "that will return the powers to the Ukrainian people."

Characterizing the draft amendments and consequences of their introduction, Groysman said "that the issue of local importance will be tackled at the local level, which is a dream of every Ukrainian and a nightmare of every official close to the central authorities."

Groysman also drew attention to the fact that the country considerably resists the introduction of constitutional amendments, which was proved by tragic August 31 events that took place near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
