Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt draft law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to improvement of specific provisions of law on legal proceedings) as a basis

The draft law No. 2358a is aimed at the improvement of the procedure, stages and terms of primary qualification assessment of judges taking in account peculiarities of practical implementation of the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On consolidation of right to fair court."

The draft law also aims to settle the issue of revision of rulings passed by the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine as to appeals against acts, actions or inactivity of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine by the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

The draft law offers to introduce amendments into the Law of Ukraine "On consolidation of right to fair court."

The draft law also offers to specify the conditions of participation in the tender for the occupation of judge seats by candidates recommended by the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine to appoint a judge for the first time; and also by candidates, who were referred to the reserve for the occupation of judge positions prior to the enactment of the Law of Ukraine "On judicial system and status of judges."
