Verkhovna Rada welcomes ratification of Association Agreement between Ukraine and EU by Senate of Italian Parliament

On September 10, 2015, the Upper House (the Senate) of the Parliament of the Italian Republic passed the law on the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union after its positive consideration by the Lower House of the Italian Parliament. A co-chairperson of the group for interparliamentary relations with the Italian Republic Serhii Alekseev noted that despite actions and statements of some Italian parliamentarians, who openly support "pro-Russian policy," the trust expressed to Ukraine by the supreme legislative body of Italy, is, in particular, a result of the fruitful cooperation between Ukrainian and Italian politicians.
