Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe holds hearings entitled "Observance of environmental law at construction of Bilanivskyi mining and processing plant [Kremenchuk district, Poltava region]"

At the hearings, Chairperson of the Committee Mykola Tomenko noted that the attention to the problem followed numerous appeal the Committee had received from the citizens and people's deputies.

The authors of the addresses refuted the expediency in the plant's construction and asked the Committee to interfere in the situation.

According to the participants of the discussion, at its meeting on May 20, 2015, the Committee eyed the issues related to the construction of the Bilanivskyi mining and processing plant.

According to the information provided by the department of the Committee Secretariat, as a result of the hearings the Committee will take respective decision.
