Chairperson of Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs Hanna Hopko meets with Rapporteur of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe Christina Zelenkova

Hanna Hopko noted that the Committee's major goal is still the intensification of the interparliamentary dialogue at the political and economic levels.

She also informed about the course of the legislative process at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as about the situation in the east of the country.

The Parties also raised the question of economic sanctions introduced against the Russian Federation. The sides agreed that taking in account current circumstances, these sanctions should be toughened.
