Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government recommends Ukrainian Parliament reject draft law on invalidation of Law of Ukraine "On voluntary unification of territorial communities"

According to the Secretariat of the Committee, while consideration of the said document registered under No. 2067a, the people's deputies took in account the position of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, the all-Ukrainian association of local self-government bodies, which had noted that the draft law "is based on wrong conclusions aimed at the elimination of the reform of local self-government and decentralization of power" and offered to lift it from the list of to-be-voted legislative acts.
