Constitutional Commission meeting dedicated to judicial reform takes place

Opening the meeting of the Constitutional Commission dedicated to the judicial reform, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman noted that the Constitutional Commission has to elaborate changes for the judicial system to restore trust of the people in courts.

Analyzing the decentralization amendments into the Constitution of Ukraine adopted on August 31, Groysman noted: "We won’t regret this reform."

He also drew attention to the fact that the tragic events that took place near the walls of the Ukrainian Parliament on the day of constitutional amendments consideration, showed "how far someone is ready to go" to prevent the decentralization of power in Ukraine.
