According to the information provided by the Committee Secretariat, the members of the Committee drew attention to the fact that today, the abovementioned families can receive pension only if the breadwinner had pension insurance record as at the day of his/her death, which he/she needed to get the pension assigned under the III disability category. Therefore, the families were left without state social assistance. In case the draft law is adopted, members of the said families would automatically gain the right to additional pension payments.
