Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On introduction of amendments into some Laws of Ukraine" (as to transparency of mass media organizations ownership, as well as realization of principles of state policy in field of television and radio broadcasting)

In compliance with the law, the structure of ownership of mass media organizations is acknowledged transparent, if the information posted on its official website and provided to the National Council, allows to determine all persons having direct and/or indirect substantial share in a legal entity or an opportunity to have considerable or decisive influence on the management and/or activity of the legal entity, inter alia to control relations between all persons in the chain of legal entity's corporate rights ownership, as well as to determine the end beneficiary owner.

The document was adopted with certain remarks passed during the discussion.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 1831.
