Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs' statement on decision of group of French deputies to pay visit to occupied territory of Autonomous Republic of Crimea

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs has sent the statement to President of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone; Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly; Chairman of the France-Ukraine parliamentary friendship group Remi Pauvros on the decision of a group of deputies of the National Assembly of the French Republic to pay a visit to temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The statement condemns such a decision despite the explanations it goes with and states that the decision showed disrespect to sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine, to its people and the international law.
