Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations hosts meeting with members of European Parliament Committee on Human Rights

The Parties discussed the elaboration of the law on the protection of rights of internally-displaced persons (IDPs), problems with crossing of the confrontation line, assignation of e-passes, registration and meeting their socioeconomic needs.

People's deputy Mustafa Dzhemiliov informed the delegation of the European Parliament's Committee about the state of observance of human rights in Russia-annexed Crimea, in particular, about persecution of the Crimean Tatars and suggested that the European Parliament representatives pay a visit to that part of Ukraine.
