The draft law No. 2009а aims to introduce legal and organizational principles of assessment of impact on environment and fulfillment of international obligations by Ukraine in the frames of the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context and the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention), as well as the implementation of the provisions of the Directives 2003/4/EU and 2011/92/EU in Ukraine.
