Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt draft law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to legal support to openness of databases and transparency of registration procedures) as a basis

The draft law No. 2996 aims to bring Ukrainian legislation on open databases and registration procedures in line with the Association Agreement between Ukraine on the one hand and the European Union, European Atomic Energy Community and their member countries on the other hand; as well as it is aimed at the improvement of legislative regulation of relations linked to the acquisition, exercising and protection of intellectual property rights to trademarks. During the discussion, the Committee members expressed their remarks to the draft law.
