Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On introduction of amendments into Article 216 of Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine" (as to specification of jurisdiction of National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine)

The legislative act specified the jurisdiction of the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine, which is mainly engaged in, inter alia, pretrial investigation of corruption crimes committed by high-ranking officials authorized to fulfill state functions or functions of local self-government, or the crimes of particular danger to society.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2873.
