Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On ratification of Financial Agreement (Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod gas pipeline (Project entitled Reconstruction, Overhaul and Technical Reequipment of Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod Main Gas Pipeline) between Ukraine and EIB"

The Law ratifies the Financial Agreement (Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod gas pipeline (the Project entitled Reconstruction, Overhaul and Technical Reequipment Of Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod Main Gas Pipeline) between Ukraine and European Investment Bank (EIB) signed in Kyiv on December 1, 2014.

The Agreement envisions allocation of EUR 150 million to Ukraine by EIB to finance the Project.

The Project envisions urgent replacement of four sections of the Ukrainian part of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod gas pipeline.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 0041.
