The draft law No. 2529 (adapted) offers to introducer amendments into Articles 6, 7, 11, 15 of the Law of Ukraine "On capital of Ukraine, hero city Kyiv" to restore the system of local self-government.

The first election to Kyiv city district councils are offered to take place at the same time with regular deputy election to the Kyiv city council and with the Kyiv city mayoral election.

Most of the members of the Committee supported the decision to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada adopt the draft law No. 2529 (adapted) as a basis and on the whole following its consideration in first reading, and reject the draft law No. 2529-1 following its consideration in first reading.
