of the project on introduction technical assistance at the site of the
Chornobyl nuclear power plant and commenting the initiative of governmental
officials to exclude the Chornobyl NPP state specialized enterprise from the
list of strategic facilities that have state importance and not subjected to
privatization, Mykola Tomenko called such an initiative unprofessional.
The
Chairperson of the Committee expressed confidence that the Government would not
take measures to reorganize the Chornobyl NPP into a public joint-stock
company, which in fact means preparation of the enterprise for its further
privatization.
