The draft law No. 2984 is elaborated to ensure affordability and proper quality of public services via optimal distribution of authorities between the bodies of local self-government and executive bodies at different levels of administrative and territorial structure under the principles of subsidiarity and decentralization.

Members of the Committee noted that the introduction of effective and transparent state regulation in this sector in compliance with standards of the Council of Europe will eliminate risks of corruption and ensure maximum possible affordability of administrative services for the end consumers.

The draft law was considered at the Committee meeting on July 1.
