The draft law No. 2957 aims to reform the system of management in the field of environmental protection, in particular, the state policy in the fields of forestry and hunting economy. In compliance with the draft law, the activity of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine is directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through Environment and Natural Resources Minister. Participants of the Committee meeting noted that the adoption of this law will facilitate optimization of the system of central executive bodies and ensure effective reformation of the environmental protection system management.
