Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government supports appeal of Odesa regional council to assign status of regional importance to Biliayivka town of Biliayivka district of Odesa region

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government has supported the appeal of the Odesa regional council on assignation of status of regional importance to Biliayivka town of Biliayivka district of Odesa region.

Participants of the meeting said that the putting of the town of Biliayivka onto the list of towns of regional importance will give an opportunity to expand volumes of earnings of its budget to take measures as to expansion of existing tourist resources of the town of Biliayivka and development of tourist infrastructure.

As a result of the meeting that took place on July 1, the Verkhovna Rada was recommended support the appeal of the said Council.
