Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis draft law "On introduction of amendments into some Laws of Ukraine regulating relations in field of licensing"

The draft law No. 2887 aims to deregulate economic activity in Ukraine and to specify authorities of certain central executive bodies in the field of treatment of experimental animals and genetically modified organisms. Therefore, the draft law offers to introduce respective amendments into the Law of Ukraine "On counteraction to animal abuse," "On state system of bio-security during creation, testing, transportation and use of genetically modified organisms," and "On List of permits [licenses] in the field of economic activity." In particular, the draft law envisions abolition of a permit to work with experimental animals.
