Chairperson of Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs Hanna Hopko on working visit to Australia

During the visit, the Chairperson of the Committee had a number of meetings with representatives of political and business circles of Australia. In the frames of the visit, she met with Foreign Affairs Minister of Australia Julie Bishop, other members of the Australian Parliament.

Hanna Hopko called for intensification of trade-economic and humanitarian cooperation between Australia and Ukraine and informed about intention to cancel visas for short-term trips of Australian citizens to Ukraine.

At the meeting with the Union of Ukrainian Organizations of Australia, the Chairperson of the Committee expressed particular gratitude to the Ukrainians of Australia for their active support to Ukraine both at the Australian and the world level.
