Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to order of provision of special licenses for subsoil use)

The Secretariat of the Committee said that the draft law No. 1633 offers to introduce the mechanism of coordination of the assignation of permits for subsoil use by village, town, city and district councils.

During the discussion, Committee members noted that the idea of the draft law on intensification of attraction of representative local self-government bodies to settlement of the issues related to provision of permits for subsoil use deserves every possible support.

At the same time, participants of the discussion noted that the necessity for reception of additional agreements should not protract the processes of preparation and organization of auctions for the sale of special permits for subsoil use.
