Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis draft law "On local election"

The draft law offers new wording of the law that determines major principles, organization and order of holding election of deputies to the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea; and regional, district, city, city district, village, town councils, village, town and city heads. The provisions of this new wording are offered to be brought in line with provisions of the Laws of Ukraine "On voluntary unification of territorial communities" and "On local self-government in Ukraine."

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2831-3.
