Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On ratification of Implementation Agreement between Cabinet of Ministers and NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) on reburial of radioactive waste as result of implementation of military programs of former Soviet Union in Ukraine"

The Law ratified the Implementation Agreement between the Ukrainian Government and the NATO Support and Procurement Agency on reburial of radioactive waste as result of implementation of military programs of former Soviet Union in Ukraine, which was signed in the city of Capellen (Luxembourg) on February 8, 2013 and in Brussels (Belgium) on September 18, 2013.

The project aims to rehabilitate territories comprising radioactive waste sites in the context of control over potential proliferation and impact of these wastes on the environment.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 0027.
