Verkhovna Rada Committee for Financial Policy and Banking Activity considers major issues of Ukrainian financial system at local and regional levels

At its offsite meeting in Dnipropetrovsk, the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Financial Policy and Banking Activity has considered major issues of the Ukrainian financial system at the local and regional levels.

According to Head of the Committee Serhii Rybalka, Committee members were interested in hearing opinion of representatives of local non-government organizations and financial institutions, which often face the problem of inability to reach the Verkhovna Rada with their proposals.

As a result of the meeting, the Committee decided to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada adopt the draft laws Nos. 2455 and 2456 "On consumer crediting" and "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine on improvement of protection of financial services consumers rights" as a basis.
