Verkhovna Rada Committee for Fuel and Energy Sector, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Security holds hearings entitled "prospects and ways to raise domestic production of oil and gas aimed at enhancement of energy security of Ukraine"

Opening the hearings, Head of the Committee Mykola Martynenko noted that the hearings are conducted along with specialists of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical Oil and Gas University and are dedicated to the increase of domestic production of oil and gas aimed at increase of energy security of Ukraine.

Participants of the hearings also noted that in compliance with expectations of international information and analytical agencies, the global tendency for expansion of hydrocarbon use will last until 2030-2050.

In order to increase the production of domestic oil and gas, participants of the hearings provided several recommendations to be soon considered at the Committee.
