Verkhovna Rada will host meeting of Ukraine-NATO interparliamentary council and hold offsite meeting of NATO Parliamentary Assembly Committee for economy and security

On June 8-9, 2015, the Verkhovna Rada will host a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO interparliamentary council and hold an offsite meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Committee for economy and security.

Members of the interparliamentary council as a bilateral monitoring body will meet with Ukrainian top officials, including members of the Government, representatives of NATO and the OSCE, hear a number of reports on current security situation in Ukraine, threats to its national security, prospects of Euro-Atlantic integration of the country, implementation of its tasks on the way towards standards of the Alliance.

Both meetings' participants will be people's deputies of Ukraine and over 25 parliamentarians from 14 NATO member countries.
