Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On introduction of amendments into some Laws of Ukraine" (as to creation of competitive conditions for electric energy production from alternative energy sources)

The document that amends the effective law is aimed at:

— bringing levels of "green" electric energy tariffs in line with average global levels;

— abolition of privileges as to connection of wind power plants;

— removal of the requirement as to local element as it is, which contradicts requirements of international agreements ratified by Ukraine;

— stimulation of private entities to introduce energy efficient technologies for the production of electric energy not only from solar but also from wind power, etc.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2010-д.
