Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis draft law on introduction of amendments into Law of Ukraine "On transfer of state and municipal property" (as to free transfer of specific property)

The draft law No. 2660 envisions specification of the order of transfer of specific individual property of enterprises (except for real estate) from state to municipal ownership for further use by local self-government bodies, educational establishments, culture establishments, establishments of physical culture and sports, health care, social assistance, and children recreation establishments.

In particular, the draft law envisions free transfer of such property conducted under respective decision of the Cabinet of Ministers in case local self-government bodies oblige to use such property in compliance with its designated purpose.
