Verkhovna Rada adopts Law "On ratification of Agreement between Ukraine and Japan on assistance to and protection of investments"

The Law ratifies the Agreement between Ukraine and Japan on assistance to and protection of investments signed in Kyiv on February 5, 2015.

The Agreement envisions provision of investors representing Contracting Parties with the regime of the highest assistance to creation, attraction and expansion of investments; protects from illegal expropriation and nationalization of investments; enshrines right of investors to free transfer of funds related to provision of investments; and determines regulation of investment disputes.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 0020.
