Groysman: civilians in Donbas threatened by militants, armed gangs, tanks and missiles from Russian Federation

"The sanctions against Russia must be toughened unless all requirements of the Minsk agreements are fulfilled," Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman told the press in Vilnius (Lithuania) on May 28.

Groysman also said the fact that Ukrainian authorities and Ukrainian army are of no threat to local residents in Donbas can be proved through a simple example of the situation in other regions of Ukraine. "Is there any threat on other territories? No there is not, there has never been. All of that is a simple masquerade organized by Russia to obtain alleged opportunity to attack Ukraine," Groysman said.
