Verkhovna Rada Committee for Environmental Policy, Environmental Management and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl NPP Disaster recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft law "On introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to improvement of natural reserve fund protection in Ukraine"

At their meeting on May 20, members of the Committee approved the decision to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the draft law No. 2311 following its consideration in first reading.

The draft law determines measures on retention of facilities of natural reserve fund of Ukraine and improves activity of environmental protection sector via the introduction of amendments and supplements to some legislative acts of Ukraine.

The draft law offers to introduce amendments into:

1) Law of Ukraine "On nature reserve fund of Ukraine";

2) Labor Code of Ukraine;

3) Tax Code of Ukraine;

4) Budget Code of Ukraine;

5) Law of Ukraine "On regulation of city planning activity";

6) Law of Ukraine "On validation of state program for development of mineral and raw material base of Ukraine until 2030".
