Verkhovna Rada Committee for Environmental Policy, Environmental Management and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl NPP Disaster supports draft resolution "On measures on response to and course of dampening of emergency situation that took place in late April 2015 in exclusion area and zone of compulsory evacuation"

The draft resolution No. 2807 aims to protect life and health of population, protect environment in Ukraine and prevent nuclear, environmental and industrial disasters.

The authors of the draft resolution suggest that the Verkhovna Rada hear reports of Environmental and Natural Resources Minister, Head of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine, Head of State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine and Head of the State Agency for Exclusion Area Management on guarantees of security in the exclusion area and in the zone of compulsory evacuation.

The Committee decided to support the draft resolution.
