Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis draft law "On introduction of amendments into some Laws of Ukraine in fields of heat supplies and housing and public utility services"

The draft law aims to ensure single approach in the field of state regulation of issues of formation and setting of tariffs and crucial measures within the 8 program (Matrix) of strategic and institutional reforms in the frames of the Second Program Development Policy Loan project.

The project offers to agree the provisions of the Laws of Ukraine "On housing and public utility services," "On state regulation in the sector of housing and public utility services," and "On heat supplies" as to major principles of tariff-making.

The draft law offers to invalidate setting tariffs for housing and public utility services at the level lower than economically feasible costs.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2670.
