Participants of the Committee meeting were people's deputies, leadership and representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, State Automobile Road Agency of Ukraine, central executive bodies and non-government organizations engaged in issues of motor transport.
The participants of the meeting drew attention to the fact that a problem of overhaul and running repairs of roads lying through the territories of cities, towns or villages is that the state budget financing of the said activity is insufficient and local self-government bodies do not have right to finance such works from local budgets.
At the end of the meeting, the participants decided to recommend that the Ministry of Infrastructure take measures to reform and improve the situation in the motor transport sector.
