Members of Verkhovna Rada Committee for Foreign Affairs meet with delegation of Foreign Affairs Committee of National Assembly of French Republic

Participants of the meeting discussed the issues as to importance of European prospects for Ukraine, ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU at the French Senate; the issue of ratification of this Agreement by the lower house of the French Parliament — National Assembly; the issue of introduction of visa-free regime; Ukraine's opportunity to enter NATO; as well as Ukraine's participation in the European security system.

Besides, the parties discussed the necessity for settlement of the situation in the east of Ukraine, provision of reliable control over Ukrainian-Russian border to deescalate the situation in the east of Ukraine.
